Dr. Muhammad Younus
Assistant Professor
PhD in Arabic Linguistics
Some scholars study Arabic. Dr. Muhammad Younus has spent his career working in it.
His path started in Madinah, at the Islamic University of Madinah Munawwarah. He earned his PhD in Arabic Linguistics there and later returned as a lecturer to teach the language at one of its most respected homes.
From the classroom he moved into the archive. At the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, he worked as an editor on two major projects: a historical dictionary that traces how Arabic words have lived and changed over time, and a comprehensive Arabic encyclopedia.
Along the way, governments and religious institutions relied on his translation. He provided professional translation services for Saudi government ministries and official religious departments, including the Prophet’s Mosque, where every word carries weight.
Today, as an Assistant Professor, he brings all three together: a teacher’s clarity, an editor’s precision and a translator’s care for meaning.
